Completely agree with you, Billy. If someone feels like a company it totally honest with its customers, I think that opens up their products to be considered over competitors as the customer will automatically assume the company is looking out for their best interest. Similarly with employees... I believe that some of the best sales people and brand marketers a company will ever have are its own employees. If they feel secure and trust that the company is looking out for them, I think they will always talk favorably of it and even defend it if needed.

This is a great post! I am completely for and love how Ford is keeping up with social media, and communication within its own company. I cant tell you how many times things have been hidden from employees only to come back and bite the company in the ass. I feel like privacy in a company only hurts its employees, clientele, prospects and investment opportunities. Talk/gossip amongst the employer or company goes a long way, but having a social environment somewhat eliminates any negative well being of the company's progress. A saying growing up, I'm sure many have heard when people say, "looking for an honest, hard working individual, talented in bla bla bla..." I would say, over 90% of the time you hear people say the word Honest, when speaking of employment, or speaking highly of a company that you will look forward to doing business with. The word Honest I feel is like Gold to a business. Its the Honesty that people look for and put there trust in, and without it, people begin to question and hesitate on moving forward with a deal. There needs to be trust in everything we do, and company's need to make an effort to feel responsible in showing Honesty with there clients, prospects and most importantly there employees.
